Selvaggia Armani was born in Trento in 1968. After completing her high school studies, she enrolled in the Faculty of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan, graduating in 1994 with a thesis on designing new museum exhibition spaces. During her university studies, she cultivated her interest in the graphic arts, attending an illustration course at the European Institute of Design in Milan while simultaneously developing her research in painting. In 1995, she participated in a group exhibition of young artists at the Galleria delle Arti in Bologna.
In 1996, she held a solo exhibition at the Galleria L'Isola in Trento and published a catalogue of her work. Since 1996, her research has expanded to the world of textiles, creating new product lines for companies in the sector.
Since 1997, she has designed and produced her own collection of home textiles and casual clothing, complementing it with a series of accessories such as belts, necklaces, brooches, and t-shirts, using different materials (fabric, wool, clay).
In 2013 the collaboration with .bijouets began.
